Workers’ strike at the Libyan oil port of Al-Zawiya delayed loading activity on Monday but negotiations were under way to resolve the dispute, several oil and trading sources told Reuters.

Workers at Al-Zawiya, which exports crude from Libya’s giant Sharara oilfield, were protesting over salaries, Reuters cited a Libyan oil source as saying.

Several other sources said that negotiations over the dispute were ongoing, Reuters added.

According to Reuters ship tracking data, Seagrace tanker, which was docked at Al-Zawiya on Monday, was due to load on Tuesday.
