As protest continues in Lome the capital of Togo, Armed forces and protesters were seen running helter skelter. Tear-gas and rocket gases were reportedly being used to disperse protesters. Togolese Citizens Insist That President Faure Gnassingbé Must Go.

Racing up and down, gunshots and tear gas has become the was the order of the day in Deckon. The once peaceful city has now become a theatre of violence as War ready military men and protester clash from Thursday to friday night.

Protesters who where kept in check with barricades in some of the areas of the district in Lomé had announced that they would not leave the streets unless President Faure Gnassingbé had meet all their democratic demands.

“We will sleep here tonight, tomorrow and always if Faure Gnassingbe did not meet our demands,” said one of the protesters.

Meanwhile fighting was reported in several interior cities like Bafilo, where several people had been reported injured.
