I vacillated between happenings in Rivers State and the mammoth crowd of Biafrans in Umuahia. Rivers State, my own state, has evolved and become an extension of Sokoto Caliphate, a situation I find most worrisome, knowing how we all toiled night and day to evict Amaechi and his stooges.
Umuahia, Afaraukwu, to be precise, had become the cynosure of events of late, and today’s event made it much more so. I had two serious events to attend to today, though I must admit I felt more magnetised by the Umuahia event, since it centred around the prominence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Nigeria.
I had sunk into the intellectual demands of both when a notification came from my beau, Uchechi Emenike. I followed her lead and arrived at something godly, glorious and worthy of exultation. It was a medley of numerous colours all of which formed a circle in the sky. It is what we call RAINBOW, and it had mysteriously accompanied the appearance of the Ohamadike I, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the indomitable Director of IPOB before the crowd of over one million Biafra faithfuls.
This is an uncommon phenomenon that sparks off sustained contemplation. Why would rainbow appear in the sky when there was no likelihood of rainfall? Furthermore, what does the concurrence of Kanu’s and the rainbow’s appearance denote?
Friends, compatriots, brothers and sisters, this experience is one that will remain fresh in our minds. Some of the traducers of the restoration of Biafra movement focused on the religiosity of our hero. For them, he was feigning sainthood in his bid to distort the political structure of Nigeria.
There were others, especially my Rivers State people who were nervy about my consistent sermons about the need to look beyond politics in our quest to change our state and nation, who treated his kind of faith with disdain. For this latter group, Mazi Kanu is trying to return Nigerians to Judaism, and they made this assertion against their earlier stance concerning the struggle. One just wonders how the same person they all dismissed as a nonentity could become the one to spread Judaism all over Nigeria? Has Biafra stopped being an Igbo thing? Very funny.
The mysterious appearance of the RAINBOW should be taken seriously. Every Biafran should see it as a sign that God has ordained Mazi Kanu for the redemption of the oppressed. I urge you all to begin to disregard the lies and destructive propaganda emanating from our common enemies. It is time to rely on the promise of God, which the rainbow denotes, and work together for the birth of Biafra.
God has proven to us and the skeptics that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the hero of our dreams. Let us be focused henceforth. No more distractions. Let the lies begin to go unnoticed. All hail Biafra!
Nigeria, we reject thee
Biafra, we hail thee.
