The chairman of the parliamentary group “Bennoo Bokk Yaakaar”, a member of the Apr, Moustapha Diakhaté, decided not to run for a second term of deputy in the National Assembly. He said he threw “the sponge definitely”.

Moustapha Diakhaté, on the phone by Seneweb, confirms that he does not want his mandate to be renewed. “I want this mandate to be the last. I think I am useful elsewhere and no longer in the Assembly. Life is not just being a deputy or minister, “he told Seneweb.

Moustapha Diakhaté adds that he is not interested, either, by a ministerial post. “I do not want it at all. “Not at all,” he insisted.

The president of the parliamentary group of the presidential majority also specifies that his decision, which is personal, will not prevent him from politically supporting the President of the Republic, Macky Sall.
