A group of youths heavily paid by the governor of Anambra Stated Willie Obiano for the ‘vote or fight’ campaign and canvass for votes on the forth coming Anambra gubernatorial election were seen hiding their faces on camera.
While some were visibly hiding their faces to avoid being captured on photo shoot, others where seen covering their faces with their face caps.
Meanwhile, Innocent Uja Idibia popularly known by his stage name Tuface Idibia was allegedly paid a huge some of money to come to Anambra and inspire unwilling youths to come out and vote against their destinies, contrary to the order given by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for all to boycott the forth coming elections.
IPOB had made an announcement shortly after meeting with the European Union executives that the date for referendum will be announced after successful boycott of Anambra election.
Willie Obiano and the Nigerian government has been jittery over the sophisticated moves of the IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Nigerian government seem to be confused at this point in time as to what to make out of IPOB.
Even though, the military invaded Kanu’s home and were believe to have abducted him, IPOB seems to have become more daring and waxing stronger, even in the absence of their supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Anambra election is the litmus test to ascertain if Biafrans are willing to go. It seems like the European Union had promised IPOB their full backing for a referendum without Nigeria’s consent if they succeed in Anambra.
This is the reason Nigerian government in channeling all their efforts in Biafraland and Anambra in particular to ensure that the elections holds by all means.
