ZIMBABWE — The ousted Zimbabwean Vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to take over from the resigned former president, Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
Mr. Emmerson is said to continue from the former president 22 November 2017.
The chief whip of ruling party Zanu-PF, Lovemore Matuke, revealed that Mr. Mnangagwa would serve the remainder of Mugabe’s term.
Base on the laid down procedures, Zimbabwe general election will take place September 2018.
This is coming after Robert Mugabe resigned in the joint session of the Parliament on Tuesday 21 November.
