The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) starts oil investigation exercises in Nigeria inland basins, the Benue Trough.
As per an announcement by the NNPC in Abuja, Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mr. Maikanti Baru, declared this improvement amid a visit to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr. Umaru Tanko Almakura in Lafia.
Baru expressed that the visit was in satisfaction of the Presidential command which coordinated NNPC to continue oil investigation exercises in a portion of the country’s inland bowls which incorporate the Chad Basin and the Benue Trough.
He said the Presidential order was driven by the critical requirement for the country to expand its oil and gas saves, in this way enhancing income streams and making more business and work open doors for Nigerians.
