Then Nigerian Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Is Dead At 85

As indicated by the SUN daily paper report, an announcement from his family said he passed on at a London center on Sunday.

The vice president was born 21st October 1931 and he passed on 19th November 2017 at 85 years.

The announcement, marked by his sibling and the customary leader of Oko in Anambra State, Igwe Laz Ekwueme, said Mr. Ekwueme passed on at 10:00 pm.

The announcement peruses to a limited extent: “Ekwueme family regrets to announce the peaceful passing away of their patriarch, the former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON.

“The sad event occurred at the London Clinic at 10: 00 pm on Sunday 19th November 2017.”

The previous VP, who handed 85 over October, apparently crumbled in his Enugu living arrangement couple of weeks prior.

He was promptly taken to the Memfys Neurosurgery Hospital, Enugu, where he backslid and went into a state of unconsciousness.

President Muhammadu Buhari along these lines coordinated that he be quickly flown abroad for earnest medicinal treatment.
