The head of the Chancellery of Pakistan in Nigeria, Mr. Asim Khan, said that Pakistan had donated military aircraft and provided logistical assistance to Nigeria in its fight against terrorism. According to the local newspaper, The Independent, Khan revealed that the business visa application of Nigerians visiting Pakistan was on the rise and that Nigerian businessmen expressed interest in collaborating with Pakistani manufacturers in the manufacture of surgical equipment. .
He added that the other areas of partnership explored by businessmen included textiles, shoe manufacturing, and farm equipment and facilities.
“The growing interaction between Nigerian and Pakistani businessmen will open more areas of investment, create opportunities for joint ventures and further promote cordial relations,” he said.
