Both Manchester United and City have entered the race to sign Antoine Griezmann this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Reports in Spain suggest United are monitoring a move for the French World Cup winner and insist that there is no deal agreed for him to join Barcelona yet.
The report also adds that United will not have any issue paying him more money than Barcelona can offer, and states the club could free up Alexis Sanchez’s wages to make way for Griezmann.
Also seeking Griezmann’s signature are United’s neighbours Manchester City.
City are ready to meet Griezmann’s £108m release clause as the race for the French forward heats up.
The 28-year-old, who this week announced he will leave Atletico this summer, has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, but Atletico may prefer for him to move abroad to eliminate the aspect of strengthening their La Liga rivals.
Other reports in Catalonia, however, appear to suggest that Griezmann’s move to the Camp Nou is a done deal.
