Kidnap Kingpin Evans Sue Police Officials Over Alleged Unlawful Sealing Of His House

Alleged kidnap kingpin Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, AKA Evans has charged The Nigerian police 1bn over alleged unlawful sealing of his property at the federal high court, Lagos.

His respondents included; the Inspector General of Police, Nigeria Police, Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Response Team, IRT, ACP Abba Kyari and DSP Phillip Rieninwa as respondents.

Evans who is praying the court to declare that the Nigerian police sealed his house unlawfully without court order.

He also wants the court to compel the above respondents to immediately vacate  and unseal his two residential houses located in highbrow area of Magodo in Lagos.

Evans is also seeking that the respondents offer him an apology letter and pay him the sum of N1 billion being general and exemplary damages for the alleged forceful seizure and confiscation of the applicant’s property without the court order.
