Justice-Opening of the appeal trial of officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

They unsuccessfully requested the provisional release of their clients. For Salif Béavogui and his colleagues, their clients are paying the costs of the dysfunction of the administration. Last July, the two executives had each been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Mamadou Foula Diallo, who had never taken part in court hearings, had been convicted in absentia. He was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment.
