Abidjan, Jan 21 (AIP) – Five countries have already qualified for the quarter-finals of the fifth edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) after the second day of group matches that ended Saturday.
These are Morocco and Sudan (Pool A), Zambia and Namibia (Pool B) and Congo (Pool D). The last three elected will be known at the end of the third day and last day which begins Sunday and ends Wednesday. But the challenge will be in Group C where the two tickets remain to be taken and in Pool D for one place.
For the third day, Morocco will cross Sudan and Mauritania will face Guinea. These matches of pool A will compete simultaneously under the stroke of 19h. Pool B will take over Monday, with oppositions between Côte d’Ivoire and Uganda, and between Namibia and Zambia.
The 5th edition of CHAN takes place from January 13th to February 4th.
