IVORY COAST: 2018 Budget Adopted Unanimously

After a first suspension, the draft law on the state budget for the year 2017 was passed unanimously by the deputies on Friday.

The meeting of this Friday, December 15, 2017 of the meeting of the Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs (Caef) of the National Assembly on the adoption of the draft budget law for the State for the year 2018 is concluded by an adoption of the said project.

Indeed after the suspension of Tuesday, December 12, 2017, the deputies members of the Caef adopted at the end of the meeting of this day the draft law of the state budget 2018.

This, after some 5 hours of heated exchanges especially regarding the reform of the tax on wood. The 2018 budget is balanced in resources and expenses at CFAF 6 723.5 billion, an increase of 4.3% compared to the 2017 budget group.
