COURT UPDATE: SITTING RESUMES ON THE TREASONABLE FELONY CHARGE LEVIED AGAINST NNAMDI KANU AND OTHERS

Family Writers Press  field correspondents reporting from the Nigeria Federal High Court in Abuja, can authoritatively affirm that court proceedings billed for today, Wednesday 14th November 2018, has commenced without hiccups. The court sitting took place at the fifth floor of court 3 of the Federal High Court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako. Recall that on the 25th of June 2018, the court had adjourned the case to today for two separate hearings. One centres on the fate of the sureties of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was reported missing since 14th of September 2017, when his residence was murderously invaded at Afara-ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, Abia State,  by the Nigerian army. It is meant to determine the reason why the forfeiture of their bail bonds deposited with the court, will not be effected. Secondly, the amended charges preferred against the other four co-defendants of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu namely:  Benjamin Mmadubugwu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Bright Chimezie Ishinwa and David Nwawuisi was equally scheduled for hearing.
