The President of Nigeria, Rtd General Muhammadu Buhari visits Turkey to plead to the country to back off Biafra restoration project.
Turkey and it’s people has been in the fore – front in aiding the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to restore their country Biafra.
Turkish diplomat Abdulkadir Erkahraman who is also a special adviser to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, had asked the Nigerian army to provide the missing Biafran leader believed to be In Nigerian army’s custody, dead or alive.
In a video message released by Mr Erkahraman, he urged the Nigerian army who has been contradicting themselves in statements released on their invasion of Kanu’s home to release Kanu’s dead body so that a befitting burial be given to him as a prince and as IPOB leader or if he is still alive, they should let him go since he is on bail from a federal high court.
On the other, hand Nigerian government led by General Muhammadu Buhari rtd, was allegedly believed to have sponsored the failed coup d’etat in Turkey last year.
The Turkish government allegedly believe that Obama’s administration funded the failed coup through Buhari. Recall that Buhari, who was helped to rig Goodluck Jonathan out of Power by the duo of Barack Obama and David Cameron was a very close ally of Obama while he was still in power.

It was rumoured that Buhari on the other hand funded the coup d’etat through Nigerian Students in Turkey, hence the deportation of Nigerians in Turkey immediately after the coup.
Ever since then, Turkey is believed to have been looking for a loop-hole to retaliate what Buhari’s Nigeria did to them, hence their strong support for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s led IPOB.
Meanwhile, feelers from the Biafran camp believes that Buhari’s visit to Turkey is not unconnected with the Turkish government allegation that Nigeria sponsored a coup against it, via-a-vis Turkish government strong backing for Biafra.
