Buhari Extends Apology to Saraki, Others Over Security Embarrassment

President Muhammadu Buhari has apologized to the leadership over the National Assembly Misunderstanding that prompted their shame caused by the security staff in the Villa.

He met with both Saraki and Dogara, with Vice President Yemi Osinabjo and Senator Ita Enang and Hon. Baraje Kawu.

He instructed the head of staff, Abba Kyari to gather the names of all the foremost officers of the two houses and bring them for leeway with the goal that they will be issued Villa labels.

The dinner has been rescheduled for Tuesday evening.

Saraki said we intended to eat with the president that would have had productive discourses.

He said the issue that prompted the shame has been settled and they are back in the Villa.

As indicated by Buhari, a greater meeting with the whole initiative of the National Assembly will be held in the following couple of days.

Reason for the Embarrassment

The arranged supper by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and some essential officers of the National Assembly neglected to hold the previous evening.

The supper was slated for the new Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja by 8:30 PM.

However, Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the company were said to have couldn’t help contradicting security authorities at the pilot door.

As per sources, the lawmakers were made a request to descend from the transport conveying them in order to be issued guests’ labels.

Not happy with the screening, the officials were said to have turned back.
