One of the defendants in a treasonable felony case of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Bright Chimezie is nowhere to be found near Court. Charity Ishinwa, wife to Chimezie was in court on Tuesday to demand husbands remains, dead or alive.
Mrs. Charity Said: “My husband is in detention for one plus; they don’t want to release him to us. He has families, he has children; my children have not been to school since he was arrested. Four kids.
“I need his dead body, if they have killed him, they should give me his dead body, let me go an bury him well. Charity Ishinwa said her husband was arrested after an invasion by officials of DSS and the Nigerian army.
“The Nigerian army and the DSS they barged into his room and took him away since one-year plus. They have not even brought him to court.
“Whatever crime he committed, even if he killed someone he needs to be judged”
“Since last year August, I and my four kids have not seen my husband, every day they are seeking and asking for their father. Is it easy for me?”
Afroinsider gathered that Bright Chimezie was wrongly arrested and detained by State Operatives, Department of State Security on August 2016 because of his alleged involvement with Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of secession group activities.
Meanwhile, Federal High Court Uyo in his ruling June 2017 for violating Bright Chimezie’s Fundamental Right ordered Department of State Security, DSS to pay the Pro-Biafra agitator compensation of #5,000,000 and release him immediately.
